Personal Care is one of the most intimate and private aspects of someone’s life and we should always aim to approach this with respect and efficiency minimising any discomfort or exposure.
Unfortunately, Personal Care is often overlooked from a training aspect, which can often lead to bad practice being shared, that’s where we come in!
We use interactive activities and participation from the learners so that every learner experiences what it is like to be supported to eat, supported to move using aids and adaptations, and what it is like to be unable to have full control over areas of personal care, hopefully improving peoples understanding of others in similar situations.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
